5 Ups & 5 Downs From Last Night's WWE SmackDown (Oct 2)

2. Becky The Brilliant

Another shocking turn of events as the fantastic Becky Lynch once again scrapes the top of our Ups list, having delivered yet another excellent dramatic SmackDown performance, further justifying those "held back" claims.

The Women's Champion is in outstanding form at the moment, and was once again given the right to close the show. Stating, correctly, that there old "kind and patient" approach got her nowhere, and now, she "strikes fast, and strikes often." This led into a video package of her assaults on Charlotte, with Becky once again ripping into 'The Queen' ahead of Super Show-Down.

Inevitably, this led to Flair's arrival. There was no time for talking as she charged into the ring, brawling with her former friend, before throwing her into the set. A Figure Four followed, with Charlotte hanging from the apron for extra torque, and that was that - SmackDown concluded with her standing tall.

This was yet another well-performed set piece from the miscast duo, who will surely deliver a banger match on Saturday's pseudo pay-per-view. The wacky crowd reactions aren't even a problem anymore either...
