A few facts about Susan G. Komen for the Cure:-

Only 21% of the money this charity generates goes towards cancer cure research.

Susan G. Komen have sued well over a hundred smaller, non-profit organisations for daring to use the phrase "for the cure" as part of their campaigns.

Founder and CEO Nancy Brinker gave herself a 64% pay rise despite tumbling donation figures in 2012.

SGK, a cancer charity, produced pink water bottles containing BPA (a material linked to tumour growth) in 2013.

SGK, a cancer charity, once sold a perfume made with coumarin, oxybenzone, and toluene, all of which have been linked to the disease.

The group have drawn widespread criticism for using misleading statements and statistics in ad campaigns for expensive, ineffective treatment methods.

WWE's continued promotion of this charity remains troublesome, but what else should we expect from an organisation that sees supporting such endeavours as nothing more than a marketing technique? To top it all off, they continue to use Dana Warrior as a vehicle for these segments, despite her own misgivings.

The company should absolutely use their platform to generate funds for good causes, and breast cancer research is unquestionably among those, but it'd be nice if they chose less egregious allies.
