Following the conclusion to this week’s episode of Impact, we now have two new alliances in the doubles division as The North (Ethan Page and Josh Alexander) and The Deaners (Cody Deaner and Jake Deaner) join the ever-growing list of exciting tandems.

We’d seen the vignettes promoting the impending debut of “The Walking Weapon” Josh Alexander, and thankfully he will indeed be teaming with his Monster Mafia partner “All Ego” Ethan Page, with the duo now known as The North. The duo have had quite a bit of success on the independent circuit thus far, even enjoying a brief reign as the World Tag Team Champions in Pro Wrestling Guerrilla.

The Deaners on the other hand, well, not quite as much success. Probably because they’re a new team, but still. Cody Deaner has been in Impact before where he was aligned with ODB and claimed to be the Knockouts Champion. Ah, the good old days. Who knows what he’ll get up to this time around though.

Impact’s tag team division right now has some wonderful teams so hopefully, these two can add more to that and become established teams in the division.
