4. Nikki Cross Is Crazy

During her time on the main roster, we’ve seen Nikki Cross vacillate between insane heel, crazy lovable babyface, and superhero/villain. That’s about it. Her entire character motivation seems to be centred on “crazy.”

Currently, Cross is a crazed babyface who doesn’t have any friends (go figure) and has latched onto Candice LeRae, so much so that she cost the Poison Pixie her match against Zoey Stark by distracting her via aggressive hugging. Yep, you read that correctly, Nikki aggressively hugged Candice, which distracted her long enough for Stark to take both out and then finish off LeRae.

How is any of this supposed to make us care about Nikki or Candice? If a character is going to exude childlike wonder, this isn’t how to do it. Instead, you just see that and groan.

Worse, Zoey has been caught up in all of this for a few weeks now, and it’s not the most helpful, other than her looking down on the geek babyfaces and scoffing. Maybe that will work, but Stark’s got to get past them quickly.
