5 Ups & 5 Downs From WWE Raw (29 July - Results & Review)

4. The Feud That Won’t Die

WWE Raw Final Testament Xavier Woods
WWE

Karrion Kross’ never-ending attempt to corrupt Xavier Woods continued Monday night, as he and his four cohorts managed to best the New Day superstar.

As part of his effort to recruit Woods, Kross decided that insulting Kofi Kingston would work well. Spoiler: It did not. The match itself was about as bland as this rivalry has been. It’s so forgettable that the announcers commented on how Xavier was finally getting his hands on Karrion, when Woods actually defeated Kross four weeks ago in singles action, and both competed in a six-man tag match last week.

Predictably, AOP interfered, allowing Kross to defeat Woods, leaving everyone to wonder if this means that Xavier will just finally give up and join the Final Testament because he keeps getting beat up… if you forget that he already beat Kross this month!

The silence that accompanies these matches are just brutal. One would think that would be a sign two months of buildup isn’t working, but here we are.
