5. Andrade Replaces Dragon Lee
Right, so this clearly sucks balls for Dragon Lee, but one of WrestleMania 40's least-enticing bouts will benefit from it. Andrade has replaced Lee as Rey Mysterio's partner vs. Santos Escobar and Dominik Mysterio over the weekend; the tag effort will still be a struggle, but seeing Andrade and Santos tear it up should be fun.
You've got to feel for Dragon, but what can anyone do?
There's another wrinkle in the tale too. Carlito is rightly miffed at Rey for overlooking him yet again once it became clear that Lee wouldn't be medically cleared to tag with him. That''s twice Mysterio has looked past his mate - once for Dragon and again here for Andrade. A turn is surely incoming from Mr. Caribbean Cool.
The best heel turns have some realistic justification, and this one does. Carlito can begin to see where Escobar was coming from by calling out Mysterio's lack of leadership skills, then say he's too long in the tooth to put up with them. Meanwhile, Andrade can slip neatly into his slot as part of the LWO.
