4. LA Knight Shows Them How To Do It

Contrast and compare LA Knight's promo to the one produced by Bianca, Jade and Naomi earlier in the evening. Knight was on, had something to say, and kept the live crowd interested whilst he recapped the AJ Styles story and put a final tick next to one of SmackDown's best undercard dramas.

It was simple stuff, but LA is really good at talking.

There was a sense of danger in the air too, because these lads have been ambushing one another frequently. Knight even attempted to invade AJ's house, for crying out loud. Also, Styles took a flight all the way to Australia just to make sure his foe didn't win Elimination Chamber. It certainly wasn't out of the question that fans would see another brawl on Friday.

WWE kept some powder dry for 'Mania instead, and that was the right call. Someone as skilled as Knight on the mic can carry segments like this without any physicality, which is precisely why he's so useful to creative. Again, contrast this to the women's division snore before it.
