5. Where Is This Going?

The Riott Squad Natalya Billie Kay

Billie Kay's current gimmick seems totally aimless.

She's gone from trying to get hired by The Street Profits (to do what was never made clear) to teaming with a number of partners in the women's tag division. Now, it appears, Kay has turned into a manager for thrown-together tandems like Natalya and Tamina.

None of this will get her over. It's not even doing much for The Riott Squad either - Ruby and Liv Morgan were previously gunning for the Women's Tag belts. Michael Cole said as much on TV for a few weeks. Has that been dropped? If not, then how will beating one-off duos like Nattie and Tamina help them?

It's all so...directionless and random. Billie's headshot-obsessed character sucks, and The Riott's title tilt is paper thin. Would it have been too much to ask that Kay and Peyton Royce were kept together as The IIconics so two actual tag-teams could feud?
