5 Ups & 5 Downs From WWE SmackDown (July 8)

3. She Turned Again?!

This is the fourth time Lacey Evans has switched alignments since returning to action on the 8 April SmackDown. That means, when this week's SmackDown aired, Lacey had flipped between babyface and heel a staggering four times in just 91 days.

Ninety one days. That's mind-blowing!

Christ, some consistency would be nice. Perhaps, being fair and to ease an earlier moan, the hidden upside to this latest villainous streak is that Evans could challenge Liv Morgan for the title post-SummerSlam. That's assuming Liv beats Ronda Rousey in the first place though, which is hardly a stick on.

Lacey did fine here, but she's a clear victim of writers who are struggling to pick a direction and roll with it. Start placing your bets now, people - Evans might well turn again before the summer is out. If she does, then she'll surely break records.
