5 Ups & 5 Downs From WWE WrestleMania Raw (27 March - Review)

2. Brock Goes Aerial

Throughout the build to the clash between Brock Lesnar and Omos, the promos and the imagery have all centered on the stunning visual of the Beast suplexing the Nigerian Giant and landing a massive F-5.

That’s the huge WrestleMania moment WWE is going for here with Lesnar, having him toss an impossibly big man around while fans lose their minds.

What better way to subvert that on Monday night than to have Brock do something he’s almost never had to do his entire WWE career?

During their weigh-in on Raw, Lesnar skipped the scale and attacked Omos, throwing his body at the Nigerian Giant repeatedly, running the ropes and launching himself like a cruiserweight torpedo at the bigger man, trying unsuccessfully to just take him off his feet.

Unlike their previous encounter, Brock wasn’t even thinking about trying to hit a German suplex or lift him off the ground. The Beast was just trying to knock Omos down. That makes the accomplishment seem miles away, which will make it even bigger when it happens this weekend.
