5 Ups & 5 Downs From WWE WrestleMania Raw (27 March - Review)

1. Cody Topples Solo’s Undefeated Streak

There’s an argument to be made that Solo Sikoa’s undefeated streak shouldn’t have been sacrificed to Cody Rhodes’ quest to become Undisputed WWE Universal Heavyweight Champion.

But a better way of looking at it is that Roman Reigns is so insecure that he sent his cousin who was “not ready” out there to try to slow down his WrestleMania opponent. He basically sacrificed Solo in an effort to preserve his title against Cody.

It didn’t work, and Rhodes ended Sikoa’s undefeated streak pretty emphatically, setting him up for Mania pretty well. If anything, the plan backfired with Cody now teeming with momentum and Roman’s enforcer knocked down a peg.

If anything, this should also put a chip on Solo’s shoulder going forward, losing a match he wasn’t even wrestling for himself. But it’s on to the last stop for Rhodes before Mania, which could be an epic conclusion to the story.
