Jon Moxley, Darby Allin and Eddie Kingston vs. the Wingmen was a Dark or Elevation match needlessly put on television for the purpose of Daniel Garcia's post-match attack on Allin, which will presumably set up a rematch of their strong 11 August bout.

To that end, it broadly served its purpose. The babyfaces turned the Wingmen inside out on the road to victory, with JD Drake taking the pin, but the action didn't deliver and lacked energy.

Ostensibly a jobber stable, Drake, Ryan Nemeth, and Cezar Bononi didn't need more than a three-minute runtime, nor did they need to control three of the strongest-pushed wrestlers in the company through the picture-in-picture ad. Their characters clash well with the faces (Nemeth's in particular) but this thing was worked like something you'd see third last on an untelevised event in the back of beyond, not the most pulsating, energetic wrestling show in America.
