5 Ups & 6 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Oct 2)
2. Bray Wyatt Being Bray Wyatt
There was a lot of objectively bad content on this week's Raw, and unsurprisingly, Bray Wyatt's contributions sit near the top of the pile. 'The Eater Of Worlds' was at his babbling worst this week, first reciting nonsense in a smoke-filled room early in the show, before interrupting Finn Bálor later on, delivering another of his pointless, meandering diatribes.
The Irishman was cutting a generic teardown promo on Wyatt when the lights cut, and Bray appeared on the tron. He was still sat in his rocking chair, mumbling about Sister Abigail, whom he claimed was "dying to meet" Finn. WWE then amplified the hokiness by using some C-level special effects to transform Bray's face into that of a ghostly young woman, and cackling female laughter closed this insufferably lame feud's latest chapter.
The slight plus here is that we may finally get to meet Sister Abigail, whose arrival has been teased from the moment Wyatt first debuted, but the segment was atrocious. How can anybody take Bray Wyatt seriously at this point? He's a threat-less cartoon character who can't back his nonsensical claims up, and now needs a long, long break from television.
