3. Another Match With Moves Happening

The women’s tag team division is an illusion – a lot of movement without much actually happening.

Case in point, The Judgment Day battled Bayley and Lyra Valkyria again in a match to potentially determine the next challengers for Brie Bella and Paige’s tag titles. This was the fourth time the two teams have collided since October (with Liv Morgan tagging with Roxanne Perez in one of those matches).

The match itself was just the standard fare, albeit a bit clunky in a few spots. It rumbled along until Liv got caught interfering and was ejected, only for Dominik Mysterio to repeatedly interject, throwing his AAA Mega Championship into the ring. Bayley and Roxanne engaged in a tug-of-war over the title, with Perez accidentally knocking Dirty Dom off the apron. Bayley then predictably rolled her up for the pin.

Presumably, this will set Bayley and Lyra up for a tag title shot down the line, which makes sense considering the other two teams in the WrestleMania 42 four-way match have had a go at the tag champs (and The Judgment Day did as well).

This is all surface-level stuff happening here. There’s nothing technically wrong with any of it, but it’s just bland, paint-by-numbers booking with mostly forgettable wrestling.
