5 Ups & 6 Downs From WWE Raw (July 4)
3. A Logical Step
Then, BOOM!
Riddle came flying "out of nowhere" to blast Seth with an RKO post-match and probs sow seeds for an upcoming one-on-one at SummerSlam. If that's the road WWE want to travel down, then they shouldn't hesitate - it's the right one, because these dudes will 100% produce a banger match on 30 July.
Rollins has been a sensation all year long. He's one of the most giving workers in the industry, and can stomach loss after loss without shedding any of his main event credibility. That's a testament to his skills, and there'd be nothing wrong with him taking another 'L' to Riddle on pay-per-view.
Riddle's star is on the rise. Randy Orton's mate looked every bit the headliner opposite Roman Reigns recently, and furthering that should be a pressing concern at SummerSlam. This was simple and solid booking that worked for both men.
