5 Ups & 6 Downs From WWE Raw (Oct 3)

4. AJ Even More Isolated

It just seems like AJ Styles can’t find a friend he can rely on these days.

Styles has been at odds with former running buddy Finn Balor, who wants him to join Judgment Day. Finn offered the group’s protection last week when AJ faced Sami Zayn, but he refused it and fell victim to the numbers game.

This week, Styles partnered with Rey Mysterio in a pairing of two guys who have issues with Judgment Day. However, Rey ended up being a poor partner, as he became distracted by Dominik Mysterio and go laid out by Rhea Ripley, leaving AJ alone to eat a Coup de Grace.

Afterward, AJ shoved Rey down, yelling at him that he needed him and it was Mysterio’s fault they lost. Then Styles suffered another Judgment Day beatdown, with Balor yelling that he’s got no one else to help him.

This is some serious psychological and physical warfare here to batter AJ into joining the group. He’s probably a few days away from cracking. One more useless partner and we might see Emo Styles.
