Skinner literally spat in the face of Owen Hart's legendary lineage in an effort to claim a quick advantage over 'The Rocket', but he barely stayed in control longer than the match itself once Bret's younger brother took charge.

The victory may have seemed a little hollow after a paltry 1:36, but it came at exactly the right time for Owen himself.

The New Foundation were already dead, High Energy would barely come to life in the weeks that followed, but an unbeaten streak lasting for several years kicked off in front of one of the biggest crowds he'd ever work in front of.
