In some ways, it might have been better if Ricochet just stayed off WWE TV until the writers actually wake up from their coma and realize the talent they have on their hands, or they give him back to NXT.

The One and Only has been seen very sporadically on TV lately, wrestling only one match on Raw this year, and getting a turn in the Royal Rumble (despite losing his qualifying match against AJ Styles). Then he showed up in the Fatal Four-way for a United States Championship match on the Elimination Chamber kickoff show.

Even in that brief match, Ricochet showed a flurry that reminded you just how good he is, and how well he could do if presented properly and given half a chance to shine. Naturally, RETRIBUTION took him out of action, and while he didn’t factor into the fall, he still didn’t pick up the win, meaning his last victory came more than three months ago (not counting a mixed-tag win more than two months ago).

It’s just frustrating to see him thrown on TV like this and flounder.

Monday nights in the Carlson household are reserved for viewing Raw -- for better or worse.
