1. RK-Bro Rides Again

The setup worked really nicely earlier in the show, so that when the moment came, everything made sense.

Randy Orton walked out on Riddle and left him to contend with AJ Styles and Omos alone, with disastrous results. Later, the tag champs were threatening to lay out Orton, but Riddle came to his defense, which finally earned Randy’s respect.

And yes, that meant that RK-Bro officially reformed, with Orton even hugging Riddle. And then Riddle officially challenged AJ and Omos for the tag titles at SummerSlam, giving us a potentially electric match this Saturday.

Maybe it’s on purpose, or maybe it was just due to circumstances, but with Orton only coming back last week, there was no long, dragged-out “will they, won’t they” for this mini-angle. It was just a short tease and then the actual reunion, and it worked.
