5 Ups & 7 Downs From WWE Raw (Aug 16)

5. Queen Must Rule All

Maybe this should be an “up,” because in WWE’s twisted world it’s possible Nikki A.S.H. could have been pinned twice on Monday.

After Rhea Ripley beat Nikki clean, Charlotte Flair complained to Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville. The supposed babyface GM response? Make the other two women team up in a second match against Flair and a person.

During the match, Charlotte’s partner Nia Jax was in control when Flair tagged herself in and nailed Natural Selection, pinning Ripley. Just like that, Raw’s women’s division’s night ended with Charlotte defeating one SummerSlam opponent, who had already defeated their other opponent. And the Queen stood tall to end the evening.

Way to go WWE. Push those new stars!
