5 Ups & 7 Downs From WWE Raw (Nov 30)

4. They’re Not Even Hiding It

Literally everyone with a pulse is expecting Sheamus to turn on Drew McIntyre at some point in the near future, so WWE did something a little unusual on Monday: they had the Celtic Warrior lean into it.

Miz and John Morrison tried to egg Sheamus on to turn on his buddy and help Miz cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase, but he declined. Still, Miz raised several semi-valid points that would “justify” Sheamus turning on his partner. Later, Keith Lee confronted Sheamus and told him that the boys in the locker room pretty much assumed that the Celtic Warrior would be turning on the WWE Champion.

And Sheamus didn’t even try to defend himself, simply scoffing that he was busy and had to go turn on his partner – which he didn’t actually do.

But it does pretty much telegraph things, which is fine in this case. We all know it’s coming, it’s just a question of when, not if.
