5 Ups & 7 Downs From WWE Raw (Nov 30)

4. And Another Thing…

RETRIBUTION Ricochet

So let’s get this straight: Slapjack and defeat Ricochet, but Reckoning can’t beat Dana Brooke. What is this supposed to say about RETRIBUTION as a whole?

This heel group that wants to “shut it down” just went 50/50 on Raw (which supposedly is better than the goose egg they laid in their first several matches), so what conclusions are you supposed to draw here? What is the storyline for RETRIBUTION collectively? There was no real reason for Reckoning to lose to Brooke, who essentially is now a tag wrestler anyway, at least not in her first match.

As a result, you have divergent storylines: Ricochet is being “courted” and loses a match to Slapjack as Mustafa Ali tries to break his former friend, and then Ali berates Reckoning for losing to a woman who hadn’t won a singles match in more than six months.

What the hell, WWE?
