5 Ups & 8 Downs From AEW Dark (Aug 25)

4. Franke Kazarian vs. Kip Sabian

Kip Sabian
AEW

A very solid match, here. That's what Frankie Kazarian gives you. He's an excellent veteran wrestler who understands his role and usually does more than enough to make things interesting on Dark, where he has slotted into a regular role as SoCal Uncensored slip out of the spotlight.

This was above Kip Sabian's usual output, though he is improving. The character is coming together nicely, with 'Superbad' presented as Penelope Ford's secondary, not the other way around, and he worked well here. He came within a hair of winning after heading to the top rope following a Ford interference through he fell in the end, eating Kazarian's modified DDT finisher.
