5 Ups & 9 Downs From WWE Survivor Series 2021

3. Bianca Gets Some Redemption

It’s been a topsy-turvy year for Bianca Belair.

After winning the Royal Rumble and then capturing the SmackDown Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 37, Belair was on top of the world. But then she lost her title to Becky Lynch in 26 seconds at SummerSlam. Since then, her run on Raw has been all fits and starts, as she’s sputtered in the background because WWE is incapable of booking someone strongly in a secondary role.

So it was good to see her overcome 4-to-1 odds in the women’s Survivor Series match, toppling Team SmackDown to win for Raw. Of course, Bianca was helped out by a count-out and some luck, but still, she managed to notch three eliminations en route to winning for the red brand.

And for Belair, it was a good visual, getting to stand tall at the end and look like a player in the division rather than just another face.
