5 Ups And 1 Down From Last Night's WWE Talking Smack (Jan 24)

1. Up - (Too Much) Talkin' Bout A Revolution

Mickie James Talking Smack
WWE

After her surprising comeback on last week's Smackdown Live, Mickie James was a vital guest for Talking Smack to help flesh out a significant return and the high stakes heel turn that came alongside it.

Reviewing her beatdowns of Becky Lynch with Renee and Shane, Mickie had no sympathy for her opponent, and actually suggested the 'Irish Lass Kicker' was emblematic of a huge issue she had with the 'Women's Revolution' that has permeated WWE over the last couple of years.

Abandoning the pleasantries in discussing her return, James considered the movement triggered by the modern crop of females to be completely disrespectful, suggesting that changes really took place through people like her long before women were even given a chance.

She spoke about taking it extremely personally when her own WWE accomplishments were greatly diminished, calling it 'disgusting' that the political and professional battles her era of females had to fight.

It was an impassioned debunking of the company's current pious attitute towards Women's wrestling, and proffered the possibility of Mickie as a fascinating heel in a radical new landscape she refuses to glorify.
