3. Thatcher's Dead Good

There's not been a whole lot to say on these Timothy Thatcher segments so far - they're clever enough to be memorable and mercifully short enough not to get boring - but this week felt like a tiny, important step up.

If they're going to start folding elements of his matches into them (matches he has won in brutal fashion, at that) then there's a real impact to them week on week. Paired with these segments, it won't take too many tap out victories to get Thatcher into a very strong position in NXT, and Denzel Dejounette offering up his corpse this week gave him another impressive scalp in his post-Riddle glow.

Lorcan was a brawler, and Thatcher made him squeal. Dejounette is a wrestler, and Thatcher made him squeal. Get him to mow through every manner of opponent over the next few weeks (Nese, Reed, Tozawa, there's an incredible variety on the show currently) before giving him a big feud at the end of the summer.
