Zack Ryder's big win at WrestleMania 32 already means nothing, and another hammer was nailed into his career coffin on SmackDown. Coming out of 'Mania, WWE are trying to make Baron Corbin look dominant, that's understandable. However, it feels odd that the company placed the Intercontinental Title on Ryder, only to have him lose the title and act like a jobber again mere weeks later.

On SmackDown, he lost in just over 3 minutes to Corbin. Post-match, he was even on the receiving end of an attempted attack by his opponent, only for Dolph Ziggler to bail Ryder out of trouble. Overall, including the way he was treated by The Miz in the show's opening promo segment, Ryder is coming across as an afterthought.

Fans respond positively to the guy, so why is he constantly undermined? It's cool that WWE want Corbin to look like hot property, but Zack should have been more competitive during this one.
