5 Ups And 3 Downs From Last Night's WWE SmackDown (April 14)

2. Paige Gets Jobbed Out Too Quickly

In similar fashion, Paige didn't look all that competitive against Emma this week. Perhaps it's nit-picking, but both Zack Ryder vs. Baron Corbin and Emma vs. Paige would have benefited from being a little longer. It's hard for wrestlers to tell a story in 3 minutes.

It's far from a negative that Emma picked up the victory, but there's a sense that the match could have been better with more time. On Raw, Natalya and Charlotte went around 11 minutes. Obviously, not every single bout can be lengthy - female revolution or otherwise - but 3 minutes is not long enough.

Emma is being geared up for a match against Becky Lynch, or at least that's how things look to be panning out. Therefore, wins are necessary, but it's a tad clumsy to just job out Paige in a short bout with no real rhyme or reason.

This could have been a real highlight on SmackDown, but it was simple throwaway.
