It was predicted by many that Chris Jericho would turn on AJ Styles at some point, and it appears WWE wish to promote another match between the pair at WrestleMania. They have already faced off a number of times, but match quality has always been high so not many are upset by the proposal. Before Smackdown hit the air, the company were hyping up the fact that Jericho would address his betrayal on the show. That particular segment turned out to be one of the show's main highlights, Y2J looked enthused to be a villain again. His heelish smirks and general mannerisms lend well to the idea of him turning his nose up at fans. Burning a 'Y2AJ' t-shirt in a trash can, the veteran then uttered a fantastic line. Telling Styles his career was "going up in flames, and I'm going to be the one to light the fire", Jericho was convincing during his big promo. Hopefully, this all heightens to a momentum-building win for AJ at 'Mania. He needs it a little more than Chris Jericho does.
