3. Emphasis On Selling Of Injured Back By Cesaro
Bo Dallas is very much WWE's resident 'jobber to the stars' at the moment. Losing to Ryback on Monday Night Raw, Dallas followed that up by staring at the lights for Cesaro on Smackdown. In the case of the 'Swiss Superman', he has ongoing issues with The Big Show. Maybe WWE will elect to move away from those post-Raw, when Cesaro fell to the giant. Instead of doing that, they should keep Cesaro vs. Show on the backburner. Obviously, Big Show faces Brock Lesnar at 'Live From Madison Square Garden' on October 3rd. Full focus should go on that match, but why not have Cesaro develop back problems due to Big Show's careless treatment? This gives Cesaro something to sink his teeth into, and sells the fact that Show is a dangerous individual. On Smackdown, Cesaro did a brilliant job of selling his back throughout his match opposite Bo Dallas. From behind the commentary desk, the announcers similarly weighed heavy on Cesaro's apparent back troubles. There's a story to develop here. In an age where so few wrestlers actually sell anything in a meaningful way, this could stand out.
