The show's main event pitted "Local Hero" Joe Hendry against Big Damo. The winner would earn the right to represent Jack the Jobber and face Rampage Brown for the WCPW Championship.

Before the match even started, things got awesome. Hendry sang his own entrance music, which just so happened to be a version of Adele's "Hello" with the lyrics changed to reflect the match. He also had a black and white video made with footage of himself on a swing in a playground and back-to-back shots of the bearded Big Damo and Hagrid.

Unfortunately, the rest of the main event couldn't live up to the video. The bout between Damo and Hendry was fine, but both guys took a backseat to drama with Jack the Jobber. Jack was present at ringside and, after a ref bump, he took over officiating duties. Hendry, who had cozied up to Jack, thought he had it in the bag, but Jack tried to call it down the middle (though with some inadvertent fast counts). Then when Damo won, Jack looked like he didn't know what to do.

This was the only match of the evening where it felt like the wrestling took a backseat to the story. It didn't do the workers any favors.
