5 Ups And 3 Downs From WCPW Loaded Episode 1
5. Ups - Welcome To WCPW
The show opened with an appearance from none other than WhatCulture Pro Wrestling General Manager Adam Pacitti, with the WhatCulture Championship in tow (not to be confused with the non-cardboard WCPW Championship).
Pacitti got a warm reception from the fans, then returned it, welcoming them to the very first WCPW show. He also hyped the upcoming card, noting that Big Damo would face Joe Hendry. The winner would take on Rampage Brown to become the first WCPW Champion.
What makes WhatCulture Pro Wrestling unique is that it's a pro wrestling company run by pro wrestling fans, and rather than run from that, the promotion embraces it. It can admittedly feel, at times, like the wrestlers are secondary to the interplay between the WhatCulture personalities, and that's not a good thing.
By and large, though, what's going on in the ring at the time always seems like the focus of the show, and there's no reason why the company can't perfect the formula when it comes to WhatCulture and pro wrestling.
