5 Ups And 3 Downs From WWE Raw (March 30)

2. Heyman’s Hard Sell

Never let it be said that Paul Heyman can’t do the hard sell for a PPV.

Brock Lesnar’s mouthpiece laid out a strong “go-home segment” (using the term himself) by initially describing challenger Drew McIntyre as “special,” but then ran through The Beast’s resume of opponents: The Rock, Hulk Hogan, Undertaker, John Cena and Randy Couture. All were icons in their own way, but Brock humbled all of them, made them less special.

Heyman of course used more colorful language to describe what happened to them, and then guaranteed that the same would happen to McIntyre at WrestleMania.

But hey, this wasn’t a spoiler, so who knows what that means for the results in just a few nights.
