4. SmackDown Did More For Wyatt/Reigns Build Than Raw
On Monday Night Raw, Roman Reigns failed to deliver any real excitement during his in-ring promo. The live crowd in Chicago event blasted the skit with 'boring' chants aimed at Reigns, who is supposed to be the impassioned babyface in his feud opposite Bray Wyatt. Sadly, Wyatt is the more dynamic personality, but at least the situation was rescued somewhat on Smackdown. Even Bo Dallas got in on the action, warning Reigns before their match that he should be careful at Hell In A Cell. The resultant squash match then felt purposeful, because Bo ironically lit a fire underneath his rival. After the bout, Roman cut a far more succinct speech, and it made up for his rambling mess on Raw. Then, Wyatt appeared on the big screen to retort. Intriguingly, the cult-like leader warned that he had something in mind for Roman Reigns on the next episode of Raw. This will be the last chance WWE have to really up the ante before Hell In A Cell, so fans will be expecting something good. Even with little to go on, Wyatt managed to put together a captivating speech. Smackdown did more for the feud than the past few weeks of Raw have, which is startling.
