7. Up - EC3-Way Dance

Eric Bischoff wasn't finished there - he had one more announcement to make. The scheduled match pitting TNA's Ethan Carter III against El Ligero was being changed to a three-way bout, with "The Bruiser Weight" Pete Dunne thrown into the mix.

There's an argument to be made that this telegraphed the finish - after all, it seems unlikely that EC3 was going to do a job, and adding Dunne would let Ligero pick up the win (which he did). Still, it was worth it - the bout was an exciting three-way contest. Dunne and Ligero carried most of the athleticism, but EC3's spots in the match were very well-timed and well-executed. This was actually the first time I've ever seen him work as a babyface, and he was quite good.

Ligero was the star, wiping out both men with a somersault plancha and surviving a TKO from EC3. He ended up nailing EC3 with a Beautiful Disaster Kick, then put Dunne down with the C4L (an inside springboard tornado DDT) for the win. Great action, and after the match, EC3 and Dunne shook hands.
