6. Down - Chopped

The next match was a one-on-one contest pitting Doug Williams against Drew Galloway. While Drew Galloway was making his WCPW debut here, it's been a newsworthy past few weeks for Williams - first, he nearly broke his neck in a loss to Aron Stevens, and then he defeated Noam Dar to drive the youngster out of WCPW.

This bout, unfortunately, was the weakest on the card thus far. The opening featured both stars trading chops, then going to the outside, where they continued to chop each other against the guardrail. Williams got the heat on Galloway by kicking the middle rope as he got back in, then worked him over for a bit. Galloway made his comeback and things picked up, but it still wasn't enough to save the match. The last few minutes were good, though, and Galloway got the win with the Future Shock DDT. Hopefully, we haven't seen the last of him in WCPW.

As for Williams, his "Mr. Brexit" gimmick (which comes chock full of references to Britain leaving the EU and Donald Trump) also feels a bit unnecessary. Wrestling is supposed to be fun, so let's leave the real-life monsters out of it.
