2. Women Fight Back

After Absolution had run roughshod over the women’s division during the past few weeks, the women’s locker room finally stood up to the trio Monday night.

Asuka was preparing for her match against Alicia Fox when Paige, Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville came out to confront the Empress of Tomorrow. The three women attacked Asuka, who fought them off for a bit before succumbing. But before Absolution could inflict any serious damage, the women’s locker room emptied out.

All of the remaining women ran out to chase off the trio, the first time they’ve been thwarted. It was a logical development, but it also raises the question of where WWE goes next with the story. Does Absolution look to recruit another member? Does the group take out someone more long term to even the odds?

Or does WWE botch the angle going forward? Let’s hope not.
