3. Gulak The Politician

Drew Gulak does not get a lot of recognition on Raw, but he’s come a long way from the nondescript guy who wore a weird silver robe to the ring when he debuted in WWE.

Since beginning a campaign for a “no-fly zone” for 205 Live, Gulak has morphed into an entertaining straight man. On Monday, we saw him use those skills, along with those of a politician, as he sat in on commentary.

Michael Cole asked Drew repeatedly whether he would try to defeat his “boss” Enzo Amore if he gets the chance, and Gulak simply sidestepped the question and gave a completely unrelated answer. Booker T (who is gearing up for a run for Houston mayor) nailed it and called it a pivot.

Gulak not biting on Cole’s repeated questions while continuing to deliver on the mic was a bright spot in the middle of the show.
