5 Ups And 5 Downs From NXT TakeOver: WarGames

3. Poor Fight Attendance

It's easy to point to the Toyota Center's heightened capacity in comparison to NXT's usual Full Sail home venue as a reason why WarGames clearly had room to spare, but previous yellow and black specials haven't struggled to fill out their bigger arenas. Is it a sign that interest in NXT is beginning to wane, in spite of the quality of the product? Have there been too many call-ups too soon?

Even WWE's usually precise Stalinist production failed to cover the gaps, with empty red seats plainly visible on wide shots between matches, not to mention when Asuka and chums were spotted in the crowd (unless an entire block vacated for refreshments at that moment). A one-off thing, or part of the worrying, wider trend of dwindling WWE attendances?

He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
