2. Drew Screwed?

Something just wasn't quite right about the way Drew McIntyre relinquished his title. Whilst there is nothing to suggest the Ayrshire giant called an audible to gift Andrade the belt - surely there'd be better options than mucking up his employer's booking plans - the finish seemed very sudden indeed.

According to Triple H in his after-show Facebook post-mortem, Big Drew may have suffered a torn bicep during the match's closing spot, a vicious looking DDT from the top-turnbuckle which nearly saw the Scot land firmly on his head. But it was McIntyre being forcefully dragged to the canvas whilst clutching the top rope which seemingly caused the blessure.

The champ was pinned pretty much immediately - not really long enough for even an experienced performer to make such a major judgement call. Regardless of the details, a potential injury for Drew is terrible news - particularly if this title defeat was designed to presage a fast-track back to the main roster.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
