1. Ambrose Makes Us Wait
There’s a difference between Dean Ambrose’s response to why he turned on his friends and Seth Rollins’ explanation several years ago.
When Rollins turned on The Shield in 2014, his actual reason was that he didn’t owe anyone an explanation, which is literally the weakest, laziest “reason” you could give. Conversely, Ambrose came out to face off with Rollins Monday night and feigned cutting a promo a few times before walking off when Seth threatened to go into the crowd to beat an answer our of Dean.
Given how perfectly last week’s turn was, we have to assume that they actually have a real motivation for Ambrose turning (tired of being the goofy sidekick for Rollins and Roman Reigns, did better on his own, etc.).
In that case, making us wait a week while Dean teases a promo was actually a pretty great heel move.
