5 Ups And 6 Downs From WWE Extreme Rules 2020

1. Bayley Ascendant

It really deserves mentioning that Bayley has really come into her own as a heel in recent months.

When the former Hugger originally turned heel, she looked like a completely ineffective villain, getting shown up constantly and looking unsure of herself. But alongside Sasha Banks, she has grown into a true villainess.

Witness during her SmackDown Women’s Championship match against Nikki Cross. Bayley won a couple early lockups and cheered herself, then mock encouraged Nikki. As the fans began to clap for Cross, Bayley turned to the audience and mocked them. Later on, she took an unnecessary swipe at Rey Mysterio's eye injury, which was the perfect "jerky" heel move.

Her mannerisms as a dominant heel champion and self-proclaimed role model have been spot on in recent months, so much so that her and Sasha’s appearances on Raw have been rare consistent bright spots on the red brand.

Sooner or later, her title reign will come to an end, but it’s good to see Bayley grow more into this role and become more of a complete wrestler.
