5 Ups And 6 Downs From WWE Madison Square Garden 2015
5. Return Of The Pink Ropes
Its October, which once again means a month of WWE turning everything pink in an overt attempt to show how much the company cares about battling breast cancer. That means pre-taped segments with superstars talking about breast cancer, John Cena and others hawking merchandise washed in pink. To be fair, other professional sports also are doing the same thing this month in the NFL, even the referees are sporting pink whistles but that doesnt make it any less annoying. It doesnt help that WWE partners with Susan G. Komen, which has had its share of issues through the years. Look for WWE to toot its own horn a lot on the next several episodes of Raw about how much it cares about breast cancer, which will likely grate on everyone by the end of the month.
