5 Ups And 6 Downs From WWE Raw (June 8)

2. Triple Threat Delivers Action

What could have been a clunky triple threat match for a United States Championship title match actually was a pretty good bout Monday night, with Kevin Owens battling Angel Garza and Andrade.

As often happens in these kinds of three-way matches, the heels aligned early on to take down Owens, but that alliance broke down when they started going for pinfalls and broke up each other’s attempts. It really went downhill at the end, with Andrade & Garza teeing off on each other.

The ending came when Owen finally connected with the Stunner, only for Andrade to steal the pin on Angel. The only question this raises is that Andrade took the pinfall in last week’s tag match, so Crews has already pinned him twice in the past three episodes, so why not have Garza get the title shot as someone new?
