5 Ups And 6 Downs From WWE Raw (June 8)

4. Friendship Forged

Regardless of how you feel about the ongoing out-of-ring competition between the Street Profits and Viking Raiders, at least one thing carried over Monday night: their growing friendship and respect for each other.

The Profits accompanied the Raiders to the ring for their match against Bobby Lashley & MVP, cheering them on throughout the bout. Afterward, when Lashley locked the full nelson on Ivar, Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins tried to pry him off the Viking, coming to the aid of their rival.

The match itself was pretty decent, and even though the Raiders fell, it was to the guy built up to challenge for the world title. That’s somewhat understanding given the circumstances. And it’s nice to see the rivalry segments led to the tag teams backing each other up, which is a dimension you wouldn’t expect to see.
