5 Ups And 6 Downs From WWE Roadblock: End Of The Line

4. Neville Shows An Edge

The reaction from former tag team partner Corey Graves said it all: Where has this Neville been?

The high-flying superstar has been absent on WWE programming for some time now, but Neville made his return at the conclusion of the Cruiserweight Championship triple threat match, coming out to congratulate Rich Swann – or so we thought. Neville immediately attacked Swann, then TJ Perkins, demolishing both wrestlers to chants of “Thank you Neville!”

Since he debuted on the main roster in 2015, Neville has been unable to really progress beyond a certain point. Neville’s flashy moves have dazzled fans, but he never really has been given much of an opportunity to shine for a sustained amount of time.

Showing an edge and turning heel like this automatically made Neville 20 times more interesting than he had been for the past year. Let’s hope this new flash isn’t forgotten also.
