We could nitpick the men’s Survivor Series match and probably pull out a handful of ups and downs, but we’re short on time, so let’s just give it an overall thumbs-up for a few things.

First off, kudos to Chris Jericho for telling Dean Ambrose that he still owed him $15,000 for the scarf he destroyed way back before the brand split. Continuity! The bookers figured out a clever way to eliminate both Dean Ambrose and AJ Styles, having each of them cause the other’s loss, setting up their title match in two weeks at TLC. (Less clever was having James Ellsworth cause Braun Strowman’s countout, but at least the Chinless One got put through a table for his troubles.

And a special shout-out to the crowd for continuing the tradition of calling out Roman Reigns whenever he was down on the floor for an extended period of time, chanting “Roman’s sleeping!” and “Wake up Roman!” Hey, if you spend half the Royal Rumble being stretchered out the arena and come back to dominate it, you kind of deserve to be put on blast.
