5 Ups And 7 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (April 20th)

4. These Are The Faces?

WWE logic never ceases to amaze. Only in WWE can randomly attacking unsuspecting people be considered a heroic attribute. Yet Monday night, two supposed faces attacked random wrestlers throughout the program. Roman Reigns€™ knockout of Bo Dallas is somewhat justified given the inspirational superstar€™s belittling speech, but all Bo really did was tell the truth. Roman has been a colossal disappointment as a top star, and he did blow a huge opportunity on the biggest stage of them all. Instead of admitting that, Reigns obliterated Dallas for daring to speak the truth. Randy Orton advertised that he was pissed off at the top of Raw and announced that he was going to assault anyone he saw until he got to Rollins. Rather than laying out members of the Authority or their designees €“ which would actually make a lot of sense €“ Orton attacked New Day, Heath Slater and the Miz in completely unprovoked moments. This wasn€™t even a situation where one of them ran afoul of Orton. He just popped up and dropped them. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J8wBcmz44vI Maybe WWE is going for a €œStone Cold€ Steve Austin DTA vibe, but at least make it seem like Orton is somewhat focused on who he€™s taking out rather than just committing random acts of violence.
