5 Ups And 7 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Mar 2)

4. Another Day, Another Title Loss

Oh look! It’s a losing streak to get a wrestler over! Those always work.

Oh wait, sorry, those never work.

But sure enough, Ricochet came out on the heels of getting obliterated by Brock Lesnar at Super Showdown and faced Riddick Moss for the 24/7 Championship. That has to be a record fall from grace – challenging for the world title one night, and then “battling” for a joke title that has seen 93 title reigns in less than nine months.

And to make matters worse, Ricochet lost cleanly.

There’s always the chance that there’s some long game here, but you probably shouldn’t mortgage the farm. Odds are, Vince McMahon just got tired of fans cheering on such an undersized wrestler and wants to properly demote him to 205 Live. Or maybe he wants his own version Shorty G on Raw.

Either way, this stunk.
