5 Ups And 7 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (May 8)

4. Bliss Has A Shadow

Some are going to hate it, but it was mildly amusing to see Nia Jax glom onto Alexa Bliss and proclaim that she was her new bestie (well, not quite in those terms).

Last week during Bliss' coronation as the first woman to hold the Raw and SmackDown Women's Championships, Alexa put down nearly every woman on the roster, except Jax. That probably had everything to do with how intimidating she could be, but Nia interpreted it differently, taking the comments about how great she was to mean she was deserving of a title shot.

Now, this wasn't a naive reaction from Jax, but more a deliberate twisting of words to get what she wanted, and so Nia decided to stand by Alexa, presumably to ensure that she remains champ and can give her a title shot. If you caught it though, Little Miss Bliss flashed an evil grin, so she could be on to Jax. It might be too subtle to mean anything, but it was there.
